Typeform is a software as a service company that specializes in online form building and online surveys. Its main software creates dynamic forms based on user needs. Typeform's software has been used by Apple Inc., Airbnb, Uber and Nike, Inc. Typeform produces millions of forms every month

When I moved to Barcelona, I’ve contacted various agencies in the city to find work. One of these companies was an agency called Pulpolab. They called me in for an interview and told me about a new product they were launching called Typeform. 

They needed a simple launch video for the homepage, showcasing the product in different uses. Typeform was a completely new tool, modernizing forms, and they needed to inspire people on how to use it.

Together with the company founders David and Roberts, we went on the streets of Barcelona with my Canon 5D and shot the footages. I used shallow depth of field, over-the-shoulder close up shots and warm tones to give an intimate and friendly feel to it. Later on I edited the video and added the sound. 

The company launched with the video on their website.

10 years forward, Typeform is now an Index Ventures backed company with millions of users around the globe. 

Three years after its launch, the company has approached me for a completely different project.

This time, I was invited to be a part of the team to design an ‘interactive article’ allowing users to read about developments in technology and conversational interface, and engage with a virtual guide.

                                                                                        Setting Up The Structure

After dividing the article into sections and marking the conversational points to engage with the reader, we’ve investigated three different options for locating our conversational interface, and looked into potential ways of styling the UI elements that comes with each option.

The article is still considered as one of the most innovative articles to date by Typeform. Designing the visual styling concept of the user interface elements of the first conversational article in the web launched by the company was a great learning experience for me.
