Garage Beer Co introduces a new beer to the market every four weeks; to be produced solely within its month.
In 2015, when the company asked me to create a concept for these monthly beer cans, which would be sold in craft beer bars, I thought it would be interesting to imagine the cans as a magazine cover. Blurring the line between packaging and editorial design, this idea could provide a space for the brewery to to take a stand on current affairs.
Besides, the craft beer bars were filled with labels with beautiful vector illustations but there weren’t any using 3D or photography.
In 2018, Garage cans were awarded with the “Excellence in Design Award” by the Communication Arts Magazine; one of the largest international trade journals of visual communications around the globe.
